Wind TurbinePlainview Feeders Wind Farm

The flat terrain of this project and proximity to transmission make this land area optimal for wind farm development. Boasting class 5 wind speeds, this project lies in the West Texas wind cooridor. With high land utilization, this project will translate into a 30-40 MW utility grade wind farm.

 

Wind TurbineHowell Wind Farm

Located near multiple transmission access points and other future wind farm developments, this class 5 wind property boasts high land utilization. At 1400 acres, this land is located in the West Texas wind cooridor, between Amarillo & Lubbock. translate into a 30-40 MW utility grade wind farm. This project is anticipated to generate between 25-35 MW.

Wind TurbineKershner Wind Farm

This exceptional wind energy project sits within the central West Texas Wind Cooridor with preliminary testing of a class 4 wind property. This 1197 acres is currently hunting and oil and natural gas productive with transmission scheduled to be close by. The unique topography shows the potential to translate into a 30-40 MW utility grade wind farm.

Wind TurbineQB Wind Farm

Met Towers were installed successfully in June on the QB Ranch. Construction to follow by end of 1st quarter 2011.

The QB Ranch, owned by King County Wind Energy is a remarkable wind energy project located in the far west Texas wind corridor within King County.  With preliminary wind speeds analysis showing class 5 winds or better, this 17,000 acre wind energy site is ideally suited for development. In addition to high average wind speeds this property boasts extensive existing infrastructure and proximity to existing transmission systems.  Having completed its pre-assessment, this property is now undergoing full assessment and budgeting for development.  It is anticipated that this acreage can support a wind farm in excess of 150MW.

Wind TurbineAiken Wind Farm

Met Evaluation Towers are are scheduled for installation the 1st week of September. This will start the data collection process prior to construction 2nd quarter 2011.

Located in the Sweetwater/ Roscoe wind area, this exceptional property boasts over 3,700 acres of prime wind. New transmission slated to arrive in the next 2-3 years will carry the anticipated project size of 50-75 MW. Sweetwater is considered to be the wind capital of the world.
